Cabbage Soup Detox Diet

Is It a Cabbage-Soup Cleanse A Good Idea

The Cabbage Soup Recipe.

• 2 onions diced
• Spray olive oil
• One head of green cabbage shredded
• 16 ounce can diced tomatoes
• 2 green peppers diced
• 4 stalks of celery chopped
• 2 cups broth (vegetable, chicken or beef)
• 2 cups vegetable juice
• 5 carrots chopped
• ½ pound green beans
• fresh herbs like thyme, basil, rosemary to taste
• balsamic vinegar to taste
• salt and pepper to taste
  

1. In a stock pot spray with a little olive oil.
2. Heat stock pot and then sautee onions until almost clear.
3. Add cabbage, canned tomatoes green peppers, celery, broth, vegetable juice and green beans.
4. Heat to a boil. Add vinegar, herbs, salt and pepper to taste.

The Plan.

• The soup above can be eaten as much as you want on all of the days of the Cabbage Soup Detox Plan.
• No bread, carbonated beverages, or alcohol.
• Drink plenty of water.

Here is what else you can eat each of the seven days on the diet:

• Day one: Unlimited fruit except no bananas.
• Day two: Unlimited fruit except no bananas, plus vegetables raw or cooked. One baked potato with a smidgen of butter.
• Day three: Unlimited fruits and vegetables raw or cooked. No baked potato.
• Day four: Up to six bananas and unlimited skim milk.
• Day five: Ten to twenty ounces of low fat protein (beef, or chicken). Unlimited vegetables.
• Day six: Unlimited low fat protein (beef or chicken).
• Day seven: Brown rice, unsweetened fruit juice and vegetables.
  

Cons of the Cabbage Soup Diet.

1. This diet is not a long-term diet and will probably not result in long-term weight loss.
2. On some days the diet is very low in protein and that can be a problem for some people.
3. Eating the soup several times a day for a week can get boring.
4. This diet is very low in fat, probably a little too low.
   

Pros of the Cabbage Soup Diet.

1. This diet is high in vegetables and fiber. This is very cleansing and detoxifying to the digestive system.
2. This diet is high in antioxidants.
3. It is a good alternative to some other cleansing or detox diets out there.
4. There is plenty to eat on this plan and it is not as boring as a liquid fast or detox.

Helpful tips.

• If you do not do well without protein, add half a pound boiled, shredded chicken breast to the soup.
• Take omega three, primrose oil and flax oil supplements every day you are on this diet. Take 7,000 mg of oil supplements or more daily.
• To keep from getting bored with this diet, make smaller batches of the soup and change it up with red cabbage instead of green cabbage, parsnips instead of carrots, asparagus instead of green beans, and different mixes of fresh herbs.
• Do not do this diet more than four times a year or more than once every three months. It is not a long-term solution to weight loss.
• Use as much organic produce as possible.

Cops to probe filming of sexual acts at budget hotels

Padan muka korang, siapa suruh mengangkang kat budget hotel.

THE police will investigate claims that budget hotels in Klang are being used to film couples having sex before selling the footage to pornographic VCD and DVD sellers.

Klang OCPD Asst Comm Mohamad Mat Yusop said police had not received any reports of rooms at budget hotels in Klang being fitted with hidden cameras to capture couples in action before this.

"The report in the Malay daily is the first that we have heard of such incidents taking place and since it is illegal to have such cameras in hotel rooms we will definitely carry out investigation soon," he said.

He said fitting rooms with cameras without the knowledge of the occupants was a serious offence as it was an invasion of privacy.

He said the making and selling of pornographic VCDs and DVDs was another offence and the police wanted to put a stop to it if the claims were true.

He said police would also interview the journalist who wrote the article to shed more light on the matter and assist in investigations.

It was reported in a Malay daily yesterday that some budget hotels in Klang had special rooms fitted with hidden cameras placed in the television set and the air-condition unit.

The DVDs and VCDs were sold for between RM10 and RM18 each and featured mostly teenagers and students from institutions of higher learning.

The journalist, who claimed to have gone undercover and spoken to some hotel owners, wrote that a 23 volume set of DVDs of the sex romp was worth up to RM3,000, besides the royalties on each copy sold.

KUALA LUMPUR 10 Julai - Mahkamah Rendah Syariah di sini hari ini menetapkan 12 Ogos ini untuk membuat keputusan bagi permohonan pengesahan dua lafaz cerai oleh suami pelakon Nora Danish, Rizal Ashram Ramli.

Hakim Syarie, Ahmad Irwan Ismail membuat keputusan itu selepas mendengar keterangan kedua-dua pihak pagi ini.

Rizal, 38, dalam keterangannya berkata, dia telah melafazkan talak pertama yang berbunyi `I ceraikan you’ pada sekitar Februari lalu dan lafaz berbunyi `saya ceraikan you’ pada 17 Jun lalu.
Sementara Nora, 26, pula mengesahkan kedua-dua talak itu dilafaz oleh Rizal melalui telefon selepas tiada lagi persefahaman antara mereka
