MSI’s Conroe mobo

If you’ve been following In.Tech recently, you’ll probably know thatIntel has just announced a slew of new speedy Core 2 Duo processors.

However a Core 2 Duo is nothing without a motherboard to support it and this is where Micro-Star International Company Ltd comes in.

The company, which you probably know as just MSI, has just released the new P965 Neo motherboard and runs on the Intel P965 Express chipset, which offers full support for the upcoming Core 2 Duo processors.

Here’s more of the nitty-gritty for you – the P965 Neo supports up to a 1066MHz front side bus (FSB) and comes with four Serial ATA II ports (which offers up to 300-megabits-per-second throughput rates each), four dual-channel DDRII RAM slots, one PCI Express x16 slot, three PCI slots, built-in high-definition 7.1-channel audio, a Gigabit LAN controller and four USB 2.0 ports.

The MSI P965 Neo retails for RM449.
